Maternity Photography Groningen
Ze zijn beiden architect. Ze komen uit Costa Rica maar de afgelopen drie jaar werd Groningen hun thuisbasis. Karina en Bernal vind je dagelijks bij de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen: hij geeft lezingen en zij werkt hard aan haar PhD. Als ze thuiskomen, worden ze enthousiast begroet door Vigo, hun Boston Terrier.
Toen ze mij mailden om een zwangerschapsshoot te plannen, was het al snel duidelijk dat hun liefde voor architectuur, de stad Groningen, voor elkaar en voor hun kindje op komst centraal zouden staan. En oh ja, Vigo kwam ook mee – maar die hoefde niet in iedere foto.
We wandelden van het Hoge der Aa langs de Noorderhaven naar het Martinikerkhof en het Provinciehuis om een reportage te maken voor dit supervriendelijke en leuke koppel.
Karina en Bernal, bedankt voor de gezellige middag en voor het drankje bij De Sigaar. We hopen dat de foto’s jullie een mooie herinnering geven aan de zwangerschap en de stad Groningen.
Ellos son los dos arquitectos. Son originalmente de Costa Rica pero durante los últimos tres años llaman a Groningen su hogar. Tú puedes encontrar a Karina y a Bernal en la Universidad de Groningen donde él trabaja como un profesor y ella trabaja duro en su doctorado.
Cuando ellos llegan a casa después de un día de trabajo su Boston Terrier Vigo les saluda muy entusiasmado. Cuando ellos me mandaron un correo electrónico para planear una sesión de maternidad, rápidamente quedó muy claro que querían mostrar en las fotografías, su amor por la arquitectura, por Groningen, el amor de uno por el otro y el del bebe que están esperando. Y sí, Vigo se unió con nosotros, pero no tenía que estar necesariamente en cada fotografía.
Nosotros anduvimos desde Hoge der Aa hasta Noorderhaven, la Martinikerkhof y la Provinciehuis, para hacer un reportaje de fotos a esta pareja super amable y divertida. Karina y Bernal, gracias por una tarde maravillosa y por las bebidas en el Sigaar. Esperamos que vuestras fotos os traigan bonitas memorias del embarazo y de la ciudad de Groningen.
They are both architects. They are originally from Costa Rica but for the past three years they called Groningen home. You can find Karina and Bernal at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen where he works as a lecturer and she works hard on her PhD. When they come home after a day’s work their Boston Terrier Vigo greets them enthusiastically.
When they e-mailed me to plan a maternity session, it became clear very quickly they wanted their love for architecture, Groningen, each other and the baby they’re expecting, to show in the photographs. And yes, Vigo joined us, but he did not necessarily have to be in every picture.
We walked from the Hoge der Aa to the Noorderhaven to the Martinikerkhof and the Povinciehuis, to create a photo documentary of this super friendly and fun couple.
